How is AAGO fresher AND less expensive than a supermarket?
Buying our fresh foods directly from the source, bypassing the usual layers of distributors and middlemen, means the food on your table will be four to seven days fresher (and significantly less expensive) than if you bought it from a typical supermarket. And because we don't have a retail location, we don't pay expensive rent for retail space. These factors help to keep our food fresh and our costs low, and we pass the savings, and the quality, on to you.
How does it all work?
It is very simple.
Where is my order prepared?
We prepare and package all orders in our fully refrigerated, state-of-the-art facility just south of 501 in the heart of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Our clean, cool environment is designed solely for food and staffed with specialized experts who know their products inside and out. We follow USDA guidelines and the HACCP food safety system in all our fresh storage and production rooms. In other words, we adhere to strict health and safety regulations exceeding national standards of food excellence.
How long will product last in the box it is shipped in?
We are placing your products in their own individual packaging. Then all the little packaging will be placed in a climate controlled box that will keep product cool for up to six hours. Perfect for at work deliver or to leave delivery at doorstep until you return home.
Who packs my box?
One of our highly trained produce specialists will hand pick and select your order, within 12 hours of you receiving the product. The product will never be out of refrigeration the entire time, which is the key in keeping fresh produce and fruits.
What if there is an item shorted or not to my liking?
Being that our drivers can not wait for you in inspect every item at delivery, Simply call (843)-294-AAGO (2246) or drop us an email within twelve hours of delivery and we will replace item within twenty-four hours. No questions asked.
Where and when does www.aandaproduceonthego.com deliver?
We deliver Monday-Friday. We do not deliver on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, or New Years Day. Orders placed before 4:00 am will be delivered on the next day we are in your area. Areas are defined as follows:
Can I tip my driver?
Yes. The driver and the box assembler will split all tips. If you feel that our driver or assembler went above and beyond please feel free to express your gratitude, but it is never to be expected.
Is there a Delivery charge?
No. There is no delivery charge, but there is a $4.75 packaging fee to maintain the highest level of freshness possible with our state of the art packaging system. The packaging will show up as an item.
Can I recycle my packaging on the next order?
Yes you can and we encourage it. If on your next order, we pick up the previous order's thermal liner we can recycle them. We will sterilize the liner for the use a future order. The item charge of $4.75 will be deducted from your invoice if all three things (box, liner, gel ice) are picked up or brought to the warehouse.
I have a party coming up, can I order case quantities?
We are a part of A & A Produce Company, a wholesaler in Myrtle Beach, specializing in fresh produce. A & A Produce delivers to local Grand Strand restaurants, bars, and grocery stores daily, so YES we can offer full case pricing.
Can I pick up my delivery?
Yes. Pick up is available at our parent company, A & A Produce Company, daily from 7:00 am until 10:00 pm
